The Giving Spirit

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH TO WHOEVER HAS BEEN DROPPING OFF THINGS AT MY DONATION BOX!

Today, I got probably about fifty cans of cat food (YAY!) and a giant bag of sealed (luckily) Science Diet Dog Food! Then, I got a sealed bag of Evo dog food (I think) and another brand.
Yay! I think that I got a couple cans of dog food too. I AM SO THRILLED!
It's awesome that people are extra nice around the holidays.

If you would like to treat some dogs for the holidays, check out my ideas on how to brighten up a dog's spirit this holiday.

  1. Donate food, toys and other items to your local animal shelter or pet food pantry.
  2. Bake dog treats for your neighbors' dogs.
  3. Go to your local pet supply store and ask if they have any donation boxes.
  4. Start a toy drive for an animal shelter! Set up a box with a sign about what you are doing at your local pet store or any other indoor place. Be sure to ask for permission first.
  5. Volunteer (play, cuddle and walk dogs) at your local animal shelter.
  6. Volunteer to walk your neighbors' dogs when they are out for free.
  7. Foster a dog from your local shelter.
  8. Donate a few dog coats to your local animal shelter for the snowy season.
  9. Make sure that your dog has access to lots of warmth this holiday season.
  10. Give your own dog some extra love and share the joy of the holidays!
