Welcome to Project for Paws.
Project for Paws was started on September 1st of 2012. I suddenly had the idea to sew ribbons and buttons onto dog collars and send them to shelter throughout the U.S.A. My favorite part is getting thank-you cards back from where the collars have gone. I think it's really important for dogs in shelters and rescues to have lots of TLC while they are waiting for their forever homes to come along. I think collars help with that. Dog collars a symbol of families and companionship. It symbolized that a dog has a home and I think homes are really important.
